Alexandra Keddie is a Melbourne based actor and writer. She is a graduate of the QLD Academy for Creative Industries and Harvest Rain Theatre Company as well as training extensively with Brave Studios, FIlm TVI, The Improv Conspiracy, London's Central School for Speech and Drama and Atlantic Theatre School in New York.
Alexandra's theatre credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (QPAC), James and the Giant Peach (QPAC) and Sweet Charity (Brisbane Powerhouse) all for Harvest Rain; A Feast (La Mama), New Voices (Matthew Robinson and The Melbourne Cabaret Festival) as well as writing and performing in Ready Steady Go! the opening gala for the Out of the Box Festival. Alexandra's foray into cabaret I See Me & Meryl Streep debuted at Melbourne's The Butterfly Club in 2015 to rave reviews and is set to return in 2016 for the Queensland and Melbourne Cabaret Festivals.
Alexandra's on screen performances include The Doctor Blake Mysteries as well as performing on and off screen in Channel 10's hit show Offspring. Since 2013 Alexandra has been performing the inner monologue for the title character Nina Proudman and was seen in the final two episodes of season 5.
In addition to performing, Alexandra is well experienced in stage and production management, publicity and recently assistant directed Orphans at Gasworks Theatre under director Peter Blackburn. A keen writer Alexandra has numerous projects in the works that will be coming to fruition in the coming months.
